11th KIFC: Announcing Selected Contestants
40 contestants selected for the 11th Kobe International Flute Competition (KIFC)
We received 357 applicants (from 41 countries/regions), the second-highest number ever for the 11th edition. We are excited to announce that 40 young flutists have been selected to participate in the 11th KIFC.
We would like to congratulate all the applicants, not just those who were selected this time, on their hard work and we wish them continued success in the future.
The 11th KIFC will be held at the Kobe Bunka Hall from August 29 to September 7, 2025. Tickets will go on sale in March 2025. Forty talented young flutists from around the world will compete at the Kobe Bunka Hall. Please look forward to discovering new talents who will lead the next generation of the music world.
