Kobe City of Music | Special Concert – Sakai Makiyo meets Hirose Miki Quartet 2024
Kobe, a city that has built its own unique style by assimilating foreign cultures since old times, is distinct from the many other places claimed as “music city”. It would be no exaggeration to say that that’s because its deeply rooted jazz culture and world-class music competition, both of which are not imitable to others.
Makiyo Sakai known for her brilliant playing of jazz arrangement of classic music and Hirose Miki Quartet led by talented trumpeter Miki Hirose will present a special program that will satisfy both classic and jazz fans, as well as those who are neither.
Experience Kobe’s unique music entangled with the flute tones and the rhythms of jazz!
