1. Submit Application Form

How to submit

Obtain a password for the Application Form by sending a message via Contact Form.
Please make sure to choose a subject line “To obtain a password for the Application Form”.

Access to the Application Form with a password provided in a reply email from the Secretariat.

Fill in the form and upload required documents below.

Required Documents

Photograph

Taken within 6 months.
Used in an official brochure and other promotional materials.

Proof of Age

An official document that proves an applicant’s age (e.g. passport).

Certification form for the Preliminary Screening

A statement attesting the authenticity and completeness of the video, signed by the third person

Up to two (2) more files could be uploaded (e.g. payment confirmation, a copy of the music sheet etc).

*Required documents should be either in JPEG or PDF format and no more than 5MB in size.

2. Submit a Video Data for the Preliminary Screening

Upload a video data to one of, or similar, online file storage/transfer services below:
*Please do not use any video streaming services (e.g. YouTube).
Share a file, in which the video data is uploaded, with the Secretariat by either providing a link URL in the Application Form, or sending an email with the link URL to the Secretariat at kifc@kobe-bunka.jp.

*Please do not make any restriction on downloading.
*Any video file submitted as an email attachment will NOT be accepted.

3. Make a Payment for the Application Fee

JPY18,000

Make a payment via either an online payment or bank wire transfer by application deadline.
*The application fee is not refundable under any circumstances.

Online Payment (PayPal)

Access to PayPal Checkout page from the final page of the Application Form and make a payment.
*For information on PayPal, please check its website.

Bank wire transfer

Make a wire transfer to the bank account specified in the Rules and Conditions.
Submit a copy of document confirming the completion of the wire transfer via email.
*All bank charges shall be borne by the applicant.
